Be sure you are on track with NCAA Core Courses and continue to keep your grades up in High School
Stay up to date with NCAA recruiting rules and dates
Take the PSAT
Continue adding to Instagram Make a list and research of schools of interest
Reach out to coaches
Consider going to summer college camps
* June 15 (after Sophomore year) Coaches can communicate with student-athletes. They may text, email, make and receive phone calls. No communication with a coach can happen until this date.
*August 1 (before Junior year) Student-athletes can make official and unofficial visits to college campuses. Coaches may have off campus contact with prospective student-athletes.
Junior Year
Be sure on are on track with NCAA Core Courses and continue to keep your grades up in High School
Register with the NCAA Clearinghouse
Take the SAT and ACT (your schools of interest might not require it, but many non-athletic scholarships require a score)
Are you hitting the numbers/skills you need to be a recruitable college athlete?
Continue adding to Instagram
Continue building your resume outside of athletics
Re-evaluate your list of schools if necessary
Continue reaching out to coaches and updating coaches on your progress throughout the year
Take official and unofficial campus visits
Senior Year
Complete college applications
Complete FAFSA
